What is Furniture Restoration?

However, it is important to note that this is often a lengthy and labour-intensive process requiring much skill and patience so turnarounds may take a few weeks.

What furniture can be restored?
We focus on wooden furniture restoring, and often this involves sanding back scratches on the surface and reapplying varnish and stain.
This could be a vintage cabinet, chair, table, dresser, chest, wardrobe, desk, office furniture or similar wood furniture. This includes common wood like oak and mahogany.
Our technician can work on-site if involving stairs, cabinets, countertops, or sofa repair but the process involves skilled craftmanship and professional tools. This means there may be dust in your living room, kitchen, bedroom or bathroom.
While we may be able to restore metal furniture, we would have to see the item or images to confirm.
DIY repairing furniture may seem like a good idea, but unless you are a skilled carpenter at furniture refinishing, it might be easier to give us a call.
What happens with furniture repair?
If the frame is unsafe we may need to reinforce or replace as well as refurbish. Luckily we are skilled with glue, nails and screws!
We can fix a tear in the fabric too with our upholstery repair.
